Alex is one rider who has more than made the grade in a short space of time, he has progressed from club level, through to National and British Championship competition to become one of the most promising youngsters in this high octane sport.

For the last 6 seasons Alex has been proving his race craft in the BSB support Championships battling for victory in the Superstock 600 and Superstock 1000 classes.

Since showcasing true potential by winning several superstock races, regular podium finisher and championship challenger Olsen soon become a future prospect for the high profile British Superbike teams. Hence being snapped up later in the 2020 season by leading BSB team, Smiths BMW.

After a very solid start to the Alex’s rookie campaign in 2020 he showed promise and all round consistent speed from the get go.

After sustaining a near career threatening injury at Silverstone at round 3 in 2020, Alex had to sit out the remainder of the season due to back injuries. After the new team announcement of FHO Racing, Team owner Faye Ho wanted to continue giving Alex the opportunity to showcase his talent for the 2021 season. Alex returns to the ultra competitive National Superstock championship to fight it out for the 2021 crown.
